Greetings from SaltSpring Island! Maya, Marnie, Zoe, Tom,
LeeAnne and myself
thank you for a fabulous time on the water this past year and look forward
to many more adventures
with you during this, our 18th season on the water. We are blessed to be
based on dear Fulford Harbour and to call its gentle waters…the office! Our
beloved Kayak Shack is also known as the Patterson Feed Shed, an historic building
built upon pilings adjacent to the government wharf. From here you can throw
a Frisbee to the ferry terminal with service to Swartz Bay (Victoria).
We truly are the waterside gateway to the new Gulf Islands National Park
whether for
a day trip from Vancouver or Victoria or a longer visit.
Our location next to
the ferry terminal means you can avoid ferry line-ups.
Leave your car behind
and step into a kayak or bike when you arrive.
So here is the invitation… come
with us, we’ll paddle out to
Russell Island Marine Park, land at the white shell
beach,
explore… and let our spirits “soar like a hawk”.
